Barton’s background includes a significant collegiate football career with Ohio State, where he played from 2003 to 2007. During his time as a Buckeye, he was a fixture at right tackle, starting for four seasons. In his final year, 2007, he was honored with the role of team captain for an impressive 11-2 Big Ten championship-winning Ohio State squad. His talent also led him to the professional ranks, as he was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
