NASCAR Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace has unveiled a heartfelt tribute to his newborn son, Becks Hayden, by incorporating the infant’s footprints onto his racing helmet for the 2025 season. This personal touch symbolizes the profound bond between father and son, allowing Becks to accompany Wallace on every lap of the track.
Wallace and his wife, Amanda, welcomed Becks Hayden on September 29, 2024. The couple, who began dating in 2015, became engaged in July 2021 and married on New Year’s Eve in 2022. The addition of Becks’ footprints to Wallace’s helmet not only celebrates this new chapter in their lives but also serves as a constant reminder of his family’s support during races.
In addition to this personal tribute, Wallace has been actively involved in charitable initiatives. In October 2024, he collaborated with McDonald’s to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). This collaboration featured a custom paint scheme on his #23 Toyota Camry, incorporating elements designed by families from RMHC of South Florida. Wallace also sported a special logo on his firesuit dedicated to the milestone and represented the name of an RMHC family from his home state of Alabama on his race car decal.
As the 2025 NASCAR season approaches, Wallace aims to break his winless streak, with a particular focus on securing victory at the Daytona 500 scheduled for February 16, 2025. The emotional addition to his helmet serves as both motivation and a symbol of the unwavering support from his family as he competes in the upcoming season.
