The Cure has officially announced the tracklist for their highly anticipated fourteenth studio album, Songs of a Lost World, set for release on November 1, 2024.

This marks the band’s first new material in 16 years, following their 2008 album, 4:13 Dream.

The album comprises eight tracks:

  1. Alone
  2. And Nothing Is Forever
  3. A Fragile Thing
  4. Warsong
  5. Drone:Nodrone
  6. I Can Never Say Goodbye
  7. All I Ever Am
  8. Endsong

The lead single, “Alone,” is available for streaming now.

Songs of a Lost World was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales, with all songs composed by lead vocalist and guitarist Robert Smith. The album features contributions from longstanding band members: Simon Gallup (bass), Jason Cooper (drums), Roger O’Donnell (keyboards), and Reeves Gabrels (guitar).

The cover art showcases “Bagatelle,” a 1975 sculpture by Janez Pirnat, with design by Andy Vella, a longtime collaborator of the band.

Fans can pre-order the album in various formats, including vinyl, cassette, and deluxe CD packages, through The Cure’s official website.

The band has also announced a live performance at the BBC Radio Theatre in London on October 30, 2024, which will be broadcast on Halloween.

Songs of a Lost World reflects The Cure’s signature melancholic and dark tones, reminiscent of their earlier works like Disintegration.

This release signifies a monumental moment for The Cure, reaffirming their enduring influence in the music world.
